Immerse yourself in an unforgettable 4-day, 3-night experience in the heart of Magdalena Bay, where nature, history, and marine life intertwine to offer a camp like no other. This expedition is perfect for those looking to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with the sea, the desert, and the essence of Baja California Sur. During your stay, we will embark on two-day boat expeditions to gray whale sanctuaries, and hopefully, humpback whale sanctuaries, in the calm waters of Almejas Bay. We will observe these ocean giants in their natural environment, learning about their migration, reproduction, and their role in the ecosystem. The voyage is carried out with respect and patience, accompanied by expert local guides who will share everything they know about these magnificent creatures. The other two days are dedicated to exploring coastal dunes and desert trails, where interpretive walks highlight the local flora and fauna are offered, as well as talks about the history of the bay, the lives of the fishermen, and the changes this region has undergone over the generations. Each day ends with a golden sunset over the sea and open-sky nights where the stars seem to hang within reach. The camp is set up in a remote and safe environment, with fully equipped tents, freshly prepared food with local ingredients, and the warmth of a team that deeply loves this place.
